Why Certified Homes

Clear, written and managed from start to finish

01

Written quotes

Scope, inclusions, delivery and install set out in writing before you commit.

02

Approvals handled

We prepare the drawings and application for your state, and answer council questions.

03

Fees at cost

Council, certifier and consultant fees are passed on at cost, so you can see every dollar.

04

One coordinator

One person from first enquiry to handover, with the documentation at the end.

Approvals by state

Know your route before you commit

Every factory-built home needs approval, and the route depends on where your block is. In NSW it is a council DA and s68 approval. Most other states use a building approval, and some need a planning step first.

Common questions

Before you ask, here are the answers

How long does the whole process take?

Typically 5 to 9 months in Queensland and 7 to 11 months in New South Wales, from enquiry to handover. Approval time varies most by state.

What do I pay up front?

A $1,500 preliminary assessment, credited against your purchase if you go ahead. The deposit then follows the payment option in your contract, and the balance is paid before dispatch.

Do I need to organise my own builder?

Your local builder does the footings and install. We give you builder quotes at the approval stage so you can compare them.
